CameraTek UK Digital Cameras Terms and Conditions

Statutory Rights - All statements, guarantees or warranties in our terms of trading are in addition to & do not affect your statutory rights.

Format of the contract - These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by CameraTek UK Digital Cameras, Llain Daniel, Rhiw, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, LL53 8AE.
No contract exists between you and the supplier for the sale of any goods untill the supplier has received and accepted your order and the supplier has received payment in full (in cleared funds). Once the supplier does so, there is a binding legal contract between us.

In way of clarification , an acknowledgment of your order will be sent to you via e-mail when you place your order, but acceptance of your offer to buy the goods will not take place until after your payment is taken. It is at this point that a binding legal contract is created and any contract is subject to these Terms & Conditions.
The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below)
The supplier may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.

Missing Items – Customers have two working days to report any missing items from their order.

Returns & Refunds – Cancelations – CameraTek UK Digital Cameras have a seven day money back guarantee (excluding carriage where applicable).
Once ‘unwanted’ goods have been received, the customer has a seven working day cancellation period. The customer’s right to reject starts from the day that the contract is made and ends on the expiry of 7 working days starting from the day after the goods have been received by the customer. All returns for credit/refund must have prior approval from CameraTek UK Digital Cameras and any items without such approval may be returned to the sender at their own cost.
We will not refund or exchange the item if;

  1. The product has been opened, used or if any of the original packaging is damaged or missing. Under these circumstances we will make an appropriate offer as they will be deemed second-hand.
  2. The products were specially ordered for you.

All refunds will be within 30 days of cancellation, but will not include any initial postage and packaging charges. The goods must be returned at the customers cost, however, if they are not returned, we will collect them and deduct the direct cost from the refund. We remind you that if the goods have been opened they will be considered second-hand and we reserve the right to make an appropriate offer. Please contact customer services on customer-support@cameratek.co.uk if you wish to cancel your order.

Faulty Goods – We must be notified within 28 days of purchase. We will replace, refund or repair products if they are deemed to be faulty on arrival. A refund will only be given once the faulty goods have been returned, with no exception. This can also be subject to a technical examination of the product by the manufacturer, if we are not satisfied that the goods are faulty from a genuine manufacturing fault. In any case where the goods have to be sent for a manufacturer s examination customers should be aware that this may take up to three weeks. When sending goods back the whole kit including original packaging must be returned which should also include a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase. We would always recommend a recorded and fully insured method of carriage because if lost in transit a refund will also not be given. If we are unable to detect a fault, it may also be necessary for us to return the goods to the manufacturer for confirmation before we are able to supply a replacement. This can also take up to three weeks. If after examination the goods turn out to have a non-warranty or non-manufacturing fault an estimate for repair will be provided and any return postage that the customer may have incurred will not be refunded.

Guarantees – All equipment supplied is covered by manufacturers own warranty. This is for a minimum term of 12 months and in some cases longer.

Delivery – Most of our products have a set price for delivery, at time and present its £5.95. Delivery charge may vary with weight of order. The delivery charge is for UK mainland only, if you wish delivery outside of UK mainland then please contact us at info@cameratek.co.uk.

Credit Card Security – We use a secure server to process credit/debit cards. If using a credit/debit cards you will be transferred to our credit/debit card processors PayPal.
Any attempts to use credit/debit cards fraudulently will be handed straight to the police in the region where the fraud originated. We are committed to our fight against fraud and will prosecute every case to the full extent of the law. All orders placed must pass a series of strict security checks before being dispatched and we trust that our genuine customers will understand the reason for this.
CameraTek UK Digital Cameras agrees to supply and you agree to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions, which shall supersede and terms and conditions on any purchase order or document that you submit to CameraTek UK Digital Cameras. These terms and conditions supersede and take precedence over any previous terms and conditions.
All goods remain the property of CameraTek UK Digital Cameras until full and final payment has been received.

Ordering – We welcome orders by post, email and online. If you do not feel comfortable providing credit/debit card details online then simply print out your order at the checkout and submit it using your preferred method. Please do not provide credit/debit card details by email as this is not secure.

Pre-Order – If “Pre-Order” is showing, then this means that there are 0 (zero) available.
By Pre-ordering an item you are purchasing and paying for the item without a delivery date, delivery for a pre-order can vary from 2-30 days. Once you have pre-ordered an item you do have the right to cancel at any time with a full refund before delivery. Once the item has been delivered and then you decide to cancel, please read the Returns & Refunds – Cancelations section above.

Complaints – We endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days.

Limited Liability – CameraTek UK Digital Cameras shall not under any circumstances be liable for any consequential or in direct damages or losses however caused.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction – These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
